Repentance
Answer
- And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with (accepted) repentance. (Quran: 25,71)
- Allah has promised those who believe and do right actions forgiveness and an immense reward. (Quran: 5,9)
- Satan promises you poverty and commands you to avarice. Allah promises you forgiveness and abundance. Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. (Quran: 2,268)
- (It was so that) Allah may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him, and that He may accept repentance from the believing men and women. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran: 33,73)
- Say (from Me): ‘My servants, you who have transgressed against yourselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Truly Allah forgives all wrong actions. He is the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.’ (39:53)
Exception:
There is no repentance for people who persist in doing evil until death comes to them and who then say, “Now I repent” nor for people who die as a disbeliever. We have prepared for them a painful punishment. (Qur’an, 4:18)

But if anyone repents after his wrongdoing and amends his conduct, Allah will turn towards him, Allah is Ever-Forgiving and Most Merciful. (Quran, 5:39)

- Race each other to forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the people who guard against evil. (Qur’an, 3:133)
- Race each other to forgiveness from your Lord and to a Garden, whose breadth is like that of heaven and earth combined, made ready for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That is Allah’s favour which He gives to those He wills. Allah’s favour is indeed immense. (Qur’an, 57:21)

Ask your Lord for forgiveness, and then turn towards Him in repentance. He will let you enjoy a good life until a specified time, and will give His Favor to all who merit it. But if you turn your backs, I fear for you the punishment of a Mighty Day. (11:3)
