1. So eat and drink of the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth. (2:60)
2. (Salih said to his people,) ‘Remember when He appointed you successors to ‘Ad and settled you in the land. You built palaces on its plains and carved out houses from the mountains. Remember Allah’s blessings and refrain from evil and mischief on the earth.” (7:74)
3. And to Madyan We sent their brother Shu‘ayb, he said, ‘My people, worship Allah and look to the Last Day and do not act unjustly on earth, corrupting it.’ (29:36)
4. Do not corrupt the earth after it has been put right. Call on Him fearfully and eagerly. Allah’s mercy is close to the good-doers. (7:56)
5. Do not cause corruption in the land after it has been put right.(7:85)

There is the type of man whose speech about this world’s life May dazzle you and he calls Allah to witness about what is in his heart; yet is he the most contentious of enemies. When he leaves you, his aim everywhere is to spread mischief through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. Allah does not love corruption.  When he is told to have fear of Allah, He is led by arrogance to (more) crime. Hell will be enough for him! What an evil resting-place! (2:204-206)

1. …Allah does not love corrupters. (5:64)
2. ….And do not seek to cause corruption in the earth. Allah does not love corrupters.’ (28:77)
