Justice and True Witness

Answer:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witness to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is better protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you avoid justice; and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. (4:135)

Answer:

You who believe! Show integrity for the sake of Allah, bearing witness with justice. Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to heedfulness. Have fear of Allah. Allah is aware of what you do. (5:8)

Answer:

  1. We have sent down the Book to you with the truth so that you can judge between people according to what Allah has shown to you. But do not be an advocate for the treacherous. (4:105)
  2. Do not argue on behalf of those who betray themselves. Allah does not love any evildoing traitors. (4:107)
  3. They try to conceal themselves from people, but they cannot conceal themselves from Allah. He is with them when they spend the night saying things which are not pleasing to Him. Allah encompasses everything they do. (4:108)
  4. Here you are arguing on their behalf in this world, but who will argue with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Rising? Who will act as guardian for them then? (4:109)
